is this being closed because you linked a post where the problem is solved or is this being closed because this makes proton look bad with repeated issues
This is an issue to be investigated on the Steam client's side, and we have a preexisting open issue which I've linked.
A steam support responce requires all issues and bugs to be submitted here on github
