Hello @GingerBobRoss, this feedback should be directed at the third party build of Proton. It involves a window path that's not in the mainline release of Proton.
proton 10.4x1 2025-06PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1x1 2025-06PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1x1 2025-06
Im running the latest Mesa-Git 25.2 on GE-Proton 10.4 and I am using the commands PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command% to enable native wayland driver with HDR support for my games.
im on an ultrawide 3440x1440 and 1080p monitor and when using this command my game window is not set to my monitor or resolution. It has an issue detecting which monitor and resolution it needs and will load completely in the middle of both screens at 2560x1440.
I can fix this by setting the games to either window or fullscreen, but then it breaks HDR or mouse capture
Would i just need to launch the games with Gamescope -w 3440 -h 1440 to force this correction or is there another way
