I neglected to post my driver version. I did not see the NVIDIA driver version requirement earlier, however I have since updated to version 396.54 and am still experiencing issues.
I switched distros to Manjaro, running version 17.1.12 with KDE and I don't have these issues. Currently running NVIDIA driver 396.51.
On Linux Mint I was running Cinnamon as my desktop environment, so perhaps it was simply an issue with that, however I cannot confirm that.
(Extra unrelated note to KDE users, if you have a high refresh rate monitor and your game is running at 60 Hz, try disabling your compositor)

Hello there. I have a two monitor setup. When using the Vulkan API it would give me a blank screen if I had my second monitor enabled. And the game would try to show up on my non-default monitor.
When in OpenGL mode, it would also show up on the wrong monitor and it used the resolution of my primary monitor instead of my secondary that it was showing up on. However the game did display and work. If I set the monitor in options to my second display (the one it was already showing up on), it seemed like the resolution was corrected, but it would not go to my main display.
I believe I'm running Linux Mint 19 and here's my system specs:
CPU: i7 6700K
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti
RAM: 16 GB
MOBO: Gigabyte Z170X-UD5
Running other games like Geometry Dash seemed to be fine. And even a non-supported game. I don't know for sure, but I'd bet neither of them run OpenGL\Vulkan.
