Symptoms

After playing for some time the game start to stutter only way to solve is to reboot the game.

Reproduction

This is not isolated to Age of Empires II DE but same issue happens on Age of Empires DE, Age of Empires II HD, Age of Mythology Extended, Age of Mythology Retold. I ran btop it showed 10 GB of memory usage perhaps a memory leak this issue has been here for couple of months it worked before without a problem.
