I confirm:

  • [✔️] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • [✔️] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

Proton Experimental and GE-Proton10-7 are able to compile shaders, watch the intro movie without video glitches, but after finishing compiling shaders and getting to the menu, the system hard reboots and seems to trip the PSU's overvolting protection. Only fix is to unplug the power and hold the power button down for ~30 seconds to drain the power before being able to reboot the system.

Reproduction

When I try it with the older Proton 9.0-4 the intro movie glitches, and I get the same hard reboot.
(Doesn't) work every time!

Hello @izamryan, this doesn't read like a Proton issue. Either your power supply is under spec'd or there's a power management issue in the hardware that should be evaluated by your hardware vendor.

@kisak-valve I should probably add that game runs fine on this system with Windows 11, it's only now in Bazzite it's acting up. Thank you for your feedback - I'll check out if I need to upgrade the PSU.

Game now works using Proton-GE-10-8.

Am now able to get past the menu but on loading into a map the game will bug out and crash.
