Symptoms
When trying to type in Russian (Cyrillic) in the chat in Among Us, all characters appear as question marks ("?") for all players. This makes communication in the game impossible for Russian-speaking users.
Reproduction
Launch Among Us on Linux via Steam Play / Proton.
Open the chat.
Switch the keyboard layout to Russian.
Attempt to type any text in Russian.
All characters are displayed as "?" instead of Cyrillic letters.
Additional information / Attempts to fix
Installed the game via Flatpak — problem persists.
Installed the game via RPM Fusion — problem persists.
Tried multiple Linux distributions — problem persists.
Checked fonts and system locale — no effect.
On Windows, the same game works correctly with Cyrillic input.
