Your system information

  • Steam client version: Aug 23 2018, 19:47:27
  • Distribution: Antergos 18.8
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Player 1 input stuck entering a diagonal up+left on dpad, but only during a match. This doesn't impact menus or character selection. This occurs with or without a controller connected.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launch Tekken 7.
  2. Enter practice mode.
  3. Player 1 will repeatedly jump backward from the up+left input being stuck.

Steps to fix this issue:

  1. Open controller setup.
  2. Change "character movements" from dpad+analog to dpad only.
  3. Confirm and exit.

@CarlB86 I had a similar issue that was caused by my motherboard's LED controllers being detected as a game controller

sudo nano /etc/udev/rules.d/01-asrock-LED-controller.rules
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="26ce", ATTRS{idProduct}=="01a2", ATTR{authorized}="0"

and also try these:
