Hi there,

Same issue here

  • NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti driver 590 open
  • AMD Ryzen 5700X
  • 32Gb RAM
  • 3440x1440 165Hz screen
  • Ubuntu 25.10
  • Tested with Proton Experimental or ProtonGE 10-29

I have terrible performances with DLSS (approx. 30fps), and when I activate Frame Generation, I have regular graphic glitches, lags, I'm not really enjoing the game in this state... and don't want to use Windows just for this game...

Any idea ?

Thanks !

Works for me but sometimes (very often), the Engine.ini disappear.

This mod help a lot too : https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands4/mods/13

Every time Borderlands 4 receives a patch, after Steam applies the update and I relaunch the game, this command prompt window appears.

The error says that a .bat file under C:\users\steamuser\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 4\Saved\PersistentDownloadDir\... cannot be recognized as an internal or external command, or batch script.

I attached the Proton log from this run as steam-1285190.zip
