Symptoms

Numpad does not work for credit card checkout

Reproduction

Launch, go to check out, wait for customer with credit card, click on credit card machine, unable to input numbers with numpad.

I tested on my Windows 10 machine and it works, so this must have been fixed recently on Windows but that patch doesn't work under proton.

Edit: It seems it can be worked around with the following keyboard option in the key bindings under KDE's layout options. Though it seems to happen with other desktop environments too.

Enabling this makes the keypad work correctly.

Another fix is also using PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 to enable Wayland windowing, which also solves the problem. It seems this is a bug perhaps within either the X11 implementation of WINE.
