Hello @bqrreldrill, can you test how the game behaves with Proton Experimental Bleeding Edge?
Hello @bqrreldrill, can you test how the game behaves with Proton Experimental Bleeding Edge?
Would love to, but the directions given in the link are unclear.
@bqrreldrill the steam library shows entries for proton versions just like it does games, you look for proton experimentla and change the beta version in its properties
I find the same issue in YAPYAP Demo (3997990), came here to see if someone posted about it, and here we are.
LMB should be hold to pickup item, move around to carry/move it, but instead get LMB hold picks up item, any camera movement drops it immediately.
Also RMB hold should show spell list until released, but RMB hold shows spell list, and camera movement cancels it, as if RMB was released.
I tried various GE-Proton versions, experimental, hotfix, 9.0, none worked.
Switching to Proton Experimental Bleeding Edge as suggested fixes the issue!

IT WORKS
The video plays normally and the RMB-drag also works. In my haste, I haven't checked whether LMB-drag works for the inventories, but IT WORKS.
E: Did a quick check, it works there as well.
I feel swollen with power and will be making a ticket about Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War within days :P
Here's a fresh log:

The report:

Symptoms
Hold-RMB-and-drag doesn't normally work, which is needed to set unit formations at the end of movement.
If you hold RMB, you can see the formation, but dragging makes the game treat it as releasing RMB. The devs have done something to fix this: when using the beta, you can now hold-RMB-drag if you're lucky/fast.
While doing the report today, I think I discovered that you need to be already dragging the mouse when you press and hold RMB for it to work.
Additionally, I think there's the same issue with LMB hold-and-drag in the game's inventory system.
As an unrelated issue, playing in-game videos will hang the game (or, in some Proton versions, show TV test pattern and play audio).
