Symptoms

After the most recent Farlight 84 update, the game no longer launches under Proton.
It displays the Lilith Games splash screen, then immediately closes to the desktop.

The Proton log shows an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION inside llhpbase.dll (launcher/protection module).
There are no Vulkan or DXVK errors; GPU initialization completes successfully.
CrashReportClient runs immediately after the game exits.

This occurs across all tested Proton versions, including ones where the game previously worked (GE-Proton10-17, Proton Experimental).

Reproduction

1. Launch Farlight 84 on Linux using any current Proton version.
2. Wait for the Lilith Games splash screen.
3. The game closes before reaching the login screen.
