Symptoms

After latest nvidia update (580), game freezes randomly, except the mouse and sound. Usually happens after a few minutes. Tried experimental and hotfix proton version without avail.

Reproduction

Update drivers and start the game. After a few minutes it will freeze. Window needs to be closed manually.

Sorry but I already reverted to 570 driver so cannot rerun and produce logs.
