can confirm.
Note that the game starts off the first time with 1600p resolution but mapped 1:1 on your 1080p screen so a lot of it is black, but even if your cursor is in the black area you can kinda tell that's where the options menu is going to be and then "video" and "windowed" are easily accessible. once you've made it windowed or changed the resolution, there are no more issues.
I've tested this game with Proton 8.0-3 and it displays a window smaller than the actual rendered content. The game's default resolution is 720p. I've tested with my 1080p display device and can't change the display settings due to the cropped window. The issue happens for WineD3D and DXVK, so it might a Wine or game bug. I've also observed the same situation for Mortal Kombat 11 when I play in my 4k TV coming from a 1080p display device.
Works without issues. The game started on DX9 mode, i tested it a little bit and the changed to DX11. Besides the usual shader compilation stutter it worked without problems (savegames, controller support, etc).
