Starting yesterday, I have been having CONSTANT crashing issues from alt-tabbing. I have experienced them in Overwatch 2, as well as THE FINALS. It is incredibly easy to replicate in THE FINALS, as every single time I enter a match, as soon as rendering starts, if the application loses focus, it freezes for 2-3 seconds, and crashes instantly. If this happens enough times without me restarting my PC, it will freeze my entire system, requiring a hard power-down to be usable again. Overwatch 2 crashes as well, but it is less reliable, only occurring either right at startup, or after an hour or two of play.
I updated to Mesa 25.2.3-1ubuntu1 2 or 3 days ago, and am starting to be unsure if that is even the issue.
I have tried Proton 8, 9, 10, experimental, hotfix, and a few different GE versions, to no avail. The crashes are all just as common or persistent on each version as they were on another.
I am using a 7800 XT, 5700x, on Kubuntu 25.10 with Wayland. I haven't guaranteed tried gamescope yet, because I'm not sure how to verify if it is working when I use it as a launch option. All of this being said, I have also tried DX12 as opposed to DX11, and instead of solving crashes, it simply caused huge lag spikes. I am not super well-versed in how Mesa works, but when searching for Mesa in my Discover app, I get the following:

I have made posts around a few different discord servers and/or forums, and will update if I receive more information. I cannot find information about this anywhere, so it seems to be either a SERIOUSLY sharp edge case, or I have borked my system in some way.
