Tried this both with and without esync, it crashes at boot. My wine bottle for Steam boots the same exe without issue. Game is DX9 so no dxvk testing, but I did try both with and without esync. Logs from Proton 3.7 below:

You can use the same fix that has been used for Batman Arkham Origins and change the prefix to xp. The game will work after steam takes 20 minutes to install .net. https://youtu.be/k8DetwArOe4
