I've identified various Proton-sided problems with this game.
EAC was activated at least during the beta for Linux.
However they use pipes as their launch argument delimiter (instead of spaces).
The first time Steam encounters a pipe on Linux, it just discards everything after the pipe (including the pipe).
This needs to be fixed in Steam. I used a workaround of creating a start.bat and putting the launch arguments there.
After that is fixed, there's the problem remaining that, Proton 11 doesn't launch for whatever reason with the game, even though Proton 10 does. With the msxml3 version of Proton 10 however, there appears to be a bug in the reference counting mechanism of msxml3. This bug appears to be fixed in Proton 11.
After that, the game runs very well and I could encounter no issues.
Nothing extracted yet.

Symptoms
I'm having issues with beta testing this game, because when i do start the game launcher pressing start on steam, it actually opens the launcher, but it instantly closes because it says that the game wasn't launched by the steam launch, so i think this issue is related to the steam launch wrapper somehow, can we solve this? I've been suspecting this was related to EAC, but is this EAC or is a steam launch wrapper issue?
Reproduction
Full Error log attached
I've confirmed that this error is affecting other users currently. Attempted on my desktop with PikaOS same issue.
