Symptoms

When I launch Hogwarts Legacy via Proton Experimental (as of 2025-12-09), the game runs exclusively on the integrated GPU, despite attempts to force the use of the discrete GPU (e.g., through the Heroic Games Launcher configuration).

The game detects my RTX 4080 and shows it selected as the rendering GPU in the settings; however, in practice it is still running on the integrated graphics.

Reproduction

Run the game on Proton Experimental on iGPU setup.

Hello @Jerycho95, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title, so I've gone ahead and transferred this issue report to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6510#issuecomment-3651651062.
