Hello @epmohamed55-pixel, expanding Proton's support to include an entire unrelated software ecosystem is out of scope for this project and with be better off implemented as a separate compatibility tool specializing in it.
Thank you for your reply. I just wanted to clarify that I’m not a developer asking for this to be integrated into Proton. I was simply suggesting that having something like this for Android apps on Linux could be a useful addition, similar to how Proton works for Windows apps.
I appreciate your time and work on the project.

Hi Valve / Proton team,
I’d like to suggest exploring Android Translation Layer (ATL) as an optional feature integrated with Proton.
ATL works like Wine for Windows apps, but it runs Android applications on Linux without a full virtual machine.

I believe this idea aligns with Proton’s mission to improve cross-platform compatibility and could be an exciting addition to the project.
Thanks for your amazing work on Proton and SteamOS!
