Symptoms

In Gaming Mode on Steam Deck OLED (90Hz refresh rate), Toree Saturn is locked at 45 FPS when using Proton 9.0-4 or Proton 10.0-3.

The game runs at 90 FPS in Gaming Mode only when using Proton 8.0-5.

When launched in Desktop Mode, the game runs at 90 FPS on all tested Proton versions (8, 9, and 10).

Worth to mention that demo version of the game runs 60 FPS locked no matter which Proton version is being used (probably limit set by the developer)

Reproduction

1. Set Steam Deck OLED to SteamOS Beta channel.
2. Launch Toree Saturn in Gaming Mode using Proton 9 or 10.
3. Observe 45 FPS limit in Performance Overlay.
4. Launch Toree Saturn in Desktop Mode using Proton 9 or 10.
5. Observe 90 FPS performance.
6. Launch Toree Saturn in Gaming Mode using Proton 8.0-5.
7. Observe 90 FPS performance.
