Tried switching d3d11 and d3d12 in WoW WTF config.
Observed behavior:
With D3D11: screen black, flickering, mouse does not work.
With D3D12: screen totally black, mouse works.
Behavior is reproducible on restart without changing any settings.
Rarely WoW launches unexpectedly and works with d11 or d12
Additional info:
Launching Battle.net via Faugus latest version 1.13.11 without hardware acceleration, otherwise the window is all white.

Using Proton GE 29, proton cachyos slr latest and proton EM latest with default settings.
It looks like the OpenXR/OpenVR errors might be blocking VKD3D-Proton swapchain creation, even though I’m not using any VR headset.
I'm experiencing consistent black screen / flickering issues when launching WoW through Battle.net using Faugus. Steps and behavior are as follows:
