Symptoms

The game lacks multiple VFX on the experimental Proton version. For example, lootable objects which are supposed to look like small white stars are completely missing, replaced only by glow on the ground. Certain sword attack VFX and enemy attacks are missing as well.

The issue is only present on the Experimental and unofficial GE-Proton, Proton 10.0 works as expected.

Reproduction

Launch the game and play until a broken VFX is supposed to happen.
