Reducing graphics settings to the lowest settings does not improve the situation, nor does disabling NTSYNC.

RAM: 32GB
Kernel: 6.19.8-1-cachyos

The game currently freezes on the loading screen on Proton Experimental.

If you use a different Proton version that can get past the loading screen (latest GE, CachyOS, or even Proton 9), you can connect to games but there's this weird network stuttering issue that makes the game unplayable.

Hello @ConnorDY, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options, reproduce the freeze, and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.) Also, please copy the contents of Steam Runtime Diagnostics from Steam (Steam -> Help -> Steam Runtime Diagnostics) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.
