@KAORU-VII it's working fine on the same proton version for me on mesa 26.0.4 and git with a rx 9070. Can you try wipigg the game's prefix and grabbing a new log with experimental?
OMG! Man, you have NO IDEA how LOOONG I have been waiting for somebody, ANYBODY, to reach out to me. I have been dealing with this issue for over a year now. I have posted to COUNTLESS Linux/Linux gaming Discord servers, even the most prominent (ProtonDB), and I have never ever received a reply from a single person the entire year I have been dealing with this. Kingdom Hearts is extremely special to me, and so I have been tinkering and reaching out to so many sources: influencers, content creators, and just well-established people within the Linux/open source/Linux gaming/Kingdom Hearts space and communities for months now, and I have never received an answer or found a solution. I have used multiple AIs, including Grok, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and multiple local AIs such as Qwen, NVIDIA’s local AI, etc. I have over 10 hours of usage JUST with AI trying to solve this problem. I started learning Linux about two years ago, and I have been trying to learn, learn, learn, and hoping I will just solve this on my own as well... But alas, all have failed thus far... You are literally the very first person to ever reach out to talk about it with me. I should have sent valve an issue sooner, but I didn't know I could, up until my first repo, I never knew anything about github. I just barely discovered open source in general two years ago. Anyways, I am SUPER sorry about how long this is. You don't have to read any of it.
TLDR: I deleted the prefix, verified the game files within steam, then I tried again using proton experimental (all up-to-date).

Also, it might be worthwhile to explain your audio setup: audio devices connected to your computer, whether you've changed the configuration for pulseaudio/pipewire/wireplumber and/or anything you think might be atypical with your setup.

Also, I do have a custom audio setup because I need to have a custom setup for hi-fi. But I made sure to do a TON of research before changing anything, plus I've always had AI to at least hold my hand a bit through everything. Is there anything specific you'd like to know? Also, what would audio have to do with a steam game refusing to open? Especially when it's ONLY KH3 and NO other game? Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH for replying and taking the time. I am grateful.

@KAORU-VII not that PROTON_LOG is just to get some information regarding the issue, it's not expected to make the game work (and if there is a game where it does it point to a synchronization issue). In your case, the logs point to pulseaudio, so your audio setup would be suspect.
Ideally, if you explain your setup there's a chance it could be matched and the issue reproduced. And it'd be good to also share your changes, assuming you changed them user wide (instead of system wide) I'd expect your changes to be in ~/.config/wireplumber and ~/.config/pipewire/
@simifor I'll do some testing. I never thought it could be something related to my audio setup as it's only JUST THIS GAME that doesn't boot in my steam library. I'll look into it and see what I can find. Do you have any suggestions where I can start or try?
@KAORU-VII some games are more sensitive to audio configuration. It'd be best to upload your changes, when you see a tilde ~ with a file path, that's equivalent to your home folder, so in your case I'm talking about /home/raiden-vii/.config. Look for wireplumber and pipewire folders, archive them and upload them
@simifor Okay, so what I have uncovered so far is that I 100% have never touched a single file here: /usr/share/ or here: /home/raiden-vii/.config/ in regards to pipewire, pulse or wireplumber. Everything I have tweaked resides here: /etc/. So, Now I will start finding everything. What all exactly do I need to upload? Also, I had a perfect idea, would it not work to just back up everything I have modified into a backup folder, then copy everything from /usr/share/ to etc? Or just delete everything in etc after I've backed everything up? What do you think?
Omg… I fixed the problem… It was indeed my fault. Here, the problem lay in: /etc/pipewire/pipewire.conf.d.
