Symptoms

Every time there is a meteor shower or the forest titan loses one arm and tries to attack, there is a freeze which lasts about a minute or even more, afterwards game continues just fine (when meteor shower stops or attack animation is finished)

Reproduction

Create a character on the map Extinction.
Either go out to the wastelands (so you can see the meteors) or just stay where you are, open the console (which is the tab button in my case, black box that looks like a terminal on top of screen) and type in "cheat ce "Start Meteors"" (without outer quotation marks).
Wait for the first few meteors to hit and then a little longer. It should take about 30 seconds to a minute and then it should freeze for a good while. Gameplay afterwards is just fine.
The forest titan fight needs a good amount of playtime to get to, which is not easy to troubleshoot, but the symptoms are the same. Game freezes and after a minute it suddenly "unstucks" itself and plays as normal. Unfortunately it is necessary to defeat it to progress on this map - so i'm stuck :(

I created this account just for this issue and because i love this game so much, hope somebody can help.
I also tried various other "fixes", activating and deactivating NT/F/Esync for example, but i am open to try even more, even though i already wasted about 6 hours trying to fix this on my own. I hope i attached all necessary info.
Any help is appreciated!
