Symptoms

The game crashes when launching Career Mode. A freeze occurs first, and after a few moments the game shuts down completely. This happens regardless of the Proton version used.

Reproduction

Select any Proton version.
Launch the game.
Start any Career Mode level.
The game freezes and then crashes shortly after.
