Issue

After my Proton Experimental installation just updated today I immediately noticed that Dark Souls III no longer responds to keyboard input, mouse input, or gamepad input. Also, attempting to quit the game while it's running via the quit button in Steam will hang as the game does not seem to ever exit. I tested switching to Proton 11.0 Beta as a test and this option also has the bug, going back to Proton 10.0-4 or switching to Proton Hotfix does not seem to have this issue. Also the issue does not seem to be present in Dark Souls Remastered or Dark Souls II SOTFS, only Dark Souls III.

This also doesn't seem to happen when running with gamescope regardless of the Proton version used.

Video

Something interesting to note is it seems like while the mouse is moving or briefly after clicking the mouse cursor flashes from the game's custom cursor back to my desktop environment's cursor then immediately switching back. Once the game gets to the title screen I am clicking the mouse, pressing keys on the keyboard, and pressing buttons on the gamepad repeatedly to no avail. Also you can see the game does not quit when requested by Steam.

Information

I am running NixOS with COSMIC Epoch 1.0.10 as my desktop environment. I am currently using the Steam Client Beta with SteamRT3 enabled.

Here is the version info for my current Proton installations. It seems both Proton Experimental and Proton 11.0 Beta updated today and both contain the bug.
