Good afternoon.

The problem is this:
After completing the game session in the game Anno 117: Pax Romana, Steam still considers that the game is still running. Perhaps steam itself incorrectly receives information from Ubisoft Connect that the game is completed (there was no such problem on Windows). The game itself runs in Proton Experimental mode. What could be the problem?

I am using the official flatpak Steam package from flathub in the Alt Linux distribution with the KDE Plasma 6.6 working environment.

Hello @IvanBrightest, we're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker, so I've transferred this issue report.

We've seen similar behavior before with other games that use Ubisoft Connect (previously with UPlay) where the game's launcher has chosen to remain in the system tray minimized (E.G. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/2387#issuecomment-600614301). My understanding is that launcher behavior happens on Windows as well.

@kisak-valve, Yes, you're right. This behavior is also typical for Windows. However, when the game session ends, Steam correctly understands that the game is indeed completed and does not display the "running" status. However, this problem is present on Linux.
