Hello @janIpen, please copy the contents of Steam Runtime Diagnostics from Steam (Steam -> Help -> Steam Runtime Diagnostics) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.
err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect problems looks like a line of interest from your Proton log.
@kisak-valve here is a link to the system report:

Yeah, that line does look quite concerning - does NVidia even have OpenGL? I'll try with my integrated graphics
Update: Game does run with Intel drivers enabled - problem seems to be with NVidia
Thanks, the NVIDIA proprietary driver needs for the video driver's running kernel module, 32 bit userspace libraries, and 64 bit userspace libraries are all installed and exactly the same version to work properly. Your current NVIDIA driver install is missing the 32 bit userspace libraries.
... huh. I install my drivers through Mint driver manager, why would it not install the 32b libraries (it's because my computer is 64b isn't it), and how would I install them manually?
Oh, I should also probably mention - the ctrl + arrow keys keybinds for 4D rotation don't work. Their alt versions do still function. This may be my OS consuming the keys before the game, I will check this now
I do not have any OS keybinds bound to ctrl + arrow, this is a bug in the game itself
@janIpen for nvidia drivers, mint's are pulled from ubuntu packages, but looks that the specific version you are using doesn't have a 32 bit version available currently https://packages.ubuntu.com/noble-updates/libnvidia-gl-595
Can't say anything about keybinds, but I went through the tutorial and advanced techniques and keybinds using either ctrl or alt weren't brought up

The ctrl and alt keybinds aren't from the tutorial or advanced techniques, but from the "4D rotation" toy and feature on the second-to-last page (iirc)
@janIpen every page starting from the fifth one requires unlocking, a save file would be preferable.
I am presently unable to provide a save file, however you can unlock the later pages by just opening and closing a bunch of the toys
@janIpen
Grabbed a video to make sure we are talking about the same thing. Ctrl/Alt + arrow keys are working on my end with plasma wayland

Here is my video. I am pressing ctrl + arrow keys in this, and 4D rotation is not working. Running unmodified Linux Mint (Xorg), installed 22.2 upgraded to 22.3
@janIpen as you didn't specify a desktop environment, I'm guessing you are using the mint default cinnamon-desktop, I tried that on my end, and ctrl + arrows is working normally. This is with cinnamon 6.6.2 on arch, also tried a second computer and that also works. I'm not sure what's causing this discrepancy, but there's a chance it's not a proton issue.
That assumption is correct
Hm, I'm not sure what could be messing with this then.... I'll do some experimenting, I guess
I may have figured out what is causing this issue, I had the "show cursor location on ctrl" setting enabled
Nothing extracted yet.
