When entering the either a single player or multiplayer game lobby, the game crashes

Reproduction

  1. Download game and run with proton
  2. Select Singleplayer
    OR
  3. Select Multiplayer
  4. Create a new lobby

@Shyclops I solved my problem now. I suspect you have the same problem.

You fix it by installing 32 bit drivers: lib32-nvidia-utils

to me the game was freezing when trying to play in the multiplayer section, after selecting a character. But with proton bleeding edge I can get into the dungeon https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/wiki/Proton-Versions#proton-bleeding-edge

the utils should work with nvidia-dkm and nvidia open (from my brief research at least)

You should at least confirm whether the game works when you are using proprietary Nvidia drivers.

If it does, then it's not a Proton issue.

Unfortunately it still seems to be crashing for me when selecting single player, even after I installed the proprietary one and the 32 bit utils and rebooted
