No file was generated even though I added the command line

Symptoms

Using Steam Link, the game won't even start (I tried several versions of Proton)
using WiVRn, the game does start with only sound and a black screen (several different versions of Proton tested)

Reproduction

Set game configuration in the Compatibility Tab to force use any recent versions of Proton or variations.
Try starting the game.
After some seconds "starting", nothing happens and the button in the Steam client goes back to "Play".
