When navigating to the in-game "Manage Mods" menu in tModLoader under Proton, the game completely freezes/hangs indefinitely as soon as the list is scrolled down to the mod called DAYBREAK (which is a library dependency mod for Calamity: Wrath of the Gods).
The screen freeze is permanent and forces a manual kill of the game process. Surprisingly, the tModLoader client logs (client.log) do not record any exception, error, or crash report regarding this freeze—the execution logs just stop.
Reproduction
Install tModLoader on Linux / Steam Deck.
Force the game to run via Proton (in Steam game properties).
Subscribe to the Calamity: Wrath of the Gods via Steam Workshop.
Launch tModLoader.
Go to the "Manage Mods" (Mod List) menu.
Enable Mod Called Calamity: Wrath of the Gods (DAYBREAK will turn on by itself after that, because its a dependency mod.)
Scroll down the list of mods until the DAYBREAK mod is about to appear on the screen.
Observe that the game immediately and permanently hangs (freezes).
