Symptoms

The game launcher does not respond to mouse movement or mouse clicks. The mouse pointer is also not
visible when it is over the launcher window.
This is unexpected because the game worked previously on the same system.
The issue is reproducible with Proton Experimental 11.0-20260617, Proton 11.0-1 Beta 5, and Proton 10.0-4.
I removed the Proton prefix directory for this game from steamapps/compatdata/694280 and let Steam
recreate it, but the issue still persists.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Zombie Army 4: Dead War from Steam.
2. Wait for the game launcher window to appear.
3. Move the mouse over the launcher window.
4. Try to interact with the launcher using the mouse.

Expected result: The mouse pointer should be visible over the launcher window, and the launcher should respond to mouse input.
Actual result: The mouse pointer is not visible over the launcher window, and the launcher does not respond to mouse input.
