Symptoms

When booting up the game, a window opens, but it doesn't display anything. It's just black.
The game works when selecting Proton 11.0 (beta), but not Proton Experimental. Proton 11.0 (beta) has a separate issue related to video playaback, which doesn't really impede playability.

Reproduction

1. Install the game with Steam.
2. Select Proton Experimental as the compatibility tool.
3. Click play.
4. The game will launch, but nothing will happen.
