Symptoms

Upon trying to launch the game, steam will switch the play button to stop for a couple seconds and then switch back to play. No windows open, no splash screens, no feedback aside from that button changing its icon.

Hello @zukigay, WARNING: Low file descriptor limit: 4096 (see https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/wiki/File-Descriptors) and 2670.963:01c4:0258:err:winediag:NtCreateFile Too many open files, ulimit -n probably needs to be increased are the lines to focus on in your Proton log.
