Symptoms

  1. FPS fluctuation jumps ranging in the 100fps
  2. Unable to queue for premier/competitive Image

Actions that I have tried

  1. Clear steam download cache
  2. Force all versions of Proton
  3. Verify Game Files
  4. Deleted bin folder
  5. Restart and launch steam client
  6. Move CS2 to different drives on the device from where the steam client is installed

Reproduction for VAC issue

  1. Open the game using steam client
  2. Queuing for Premier/Competitive

Reproduction for FPS instability

  1. Entering a non-vac server, using connect example-ip-addr
  2. Ran around Dust II map
  3. Recorded extreme jumps in fps in middle doors and A long (long map sections)
  4. FPS instability only happen in certain sections of the map
