Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

After updating SteamVR beta in Ubuntu, I receive this error when trying to run it: "An error occurred while updating SteamVR (missing executable)". I tried restarting, uninstalling completely then reinstalling, but no fix. I also tried to verify integrity of tool files, and it said files checked out OK, but I'm still getting this error when I try to run.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

(Allegedly) Update SteamVR and/or Uninstall then Reinstall on Ubuntu
Try to run SteamVR by going to the Library, then Tools, then SteamVR.

UPDATE: Looks like after the update, not sure why, but I was no longer using the Steam Beta. Properties confirmed that I had not opted into it. Selecting beta re-downloaded the beta program, installed, and worked fine.

Not sure if I'm the only one having this problem of automatically being opted out of beta after updating. If it's just me, feel free to close this issue. Thanks!
