When I start games from Steam (on the desktop) then they don't actually ever finish to launch and SteamVR never shows the "next up" in VR or "playing" in the vrmonitor window. SteamVR Home also never finishes starting (there it does show the game panel in VR) but is not the cause of the problem, I disabled it for testing.
