Describe the bug

Cannot launch "Keep talking and nobody explodes" in VR.

When attempting to do so from the VR desktop, a desktop popup appears with the following message:

You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run:

libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0
libva.so.2
libvdpau.so.1
libva.so.2
libva-x11.so.2

To Reproduce

Start "Keep talking and nobody explodes" from the SteamVR desktop using the controller (HTC vive headset/controller)

Expected behavior
The game should start.

Are these libraries available in the Ubuntu repos? I believe your error can be resolved by installing them.

I can try, but steam doesn’t (as a rule) require you to install anything else - games vendor their own libraries as a rule.

Possibly a general game support issue then.

Thanks,
Daniel Heath

I'm not an expert, but I think maybe this bug report would be better placed over at the steam-runtime github: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-runtime/issues.

Aha - turns out I was running an out-of-support distro.

@DanielHeath Is the game working in VR for you now? I've been wanting to pick it up.

@kisak-valve Might be a good one to close.

Nothing extracted yet.
