Confirmed (Index+NVidia). Not just X-Plane though, it appears to be for all native Linux games (noticed it in Groove Gunner myself). Games using proton are unaffected.

Edit: apparently not all native games. Tried Talos Principle VR and it displayed fine. Balloonatics was also fine, which is interesting because it's from the same developer. The most relevant thing seems to be that Groove Gunner runs on a newer Unity 2019 while the others are Unity 2017 (except Talos, which Croteam's own development, but also from around 2017). So it may be specific to newer builds.

Just tested Groove Gunner on SteamVR Beta 1.22.11 and it was indeed fixed as suggested by the 1.22.10 changelog.
