Describe the bug
After update to 1.26.1, nothing happens when trying to open the settings menu.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Start SteamVR from Steam
Click on burger menu > Settings

Expected behavior
Opening of settings menu

System Information (please complete the following information):

Distribution: Ubuntu
SteamVR version: 1.26.1
Steam client version: 2023/03/24 17:2043
Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
Graphics driver version: NVIDIA Driver 525.78.01

Additional context
Trying to open the settings menu when SteamVR was launched from another application and not Steam never worked.
Now we have the same behavior when SteamVR was launched from Steam.

I'm running into the same issue. I'm on arch and have tried various betas for steamvr as well as flatpak version to no avail.
