Describe the bug
I got this error message when i start steamvr and headset stays black
Error Message:SteamVR failed to initialize for unknown reasons. (Error: vrclient Shared Lib Not Found (102) (102))

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start steamvr
  2. See error

Expected behavior
To steamvr to work and not to get an error message

So Valve, the library clearly exists yet SteamVR complains.
What's the progress on this?

Been running into this issue on Bazzite, as of late, though SteamVR still launches and technically works - the gamepad UI just doesn't load in the dashboard, so SteamVR has to fall back to the old library interface. Any version past 20260605 (June 5th, 2026) has this issue, including 20260608 and 20260629, causing Steam's Web/gamepad UI to not appear in the dashboard. Rolling back to 0605 fixes the issue, but it would be nice to use Plasma 6.7...
