I can get my vive to work as a second monitor but I can't get this to use indirect display mode. I used the certain latch patch but I got the reflected on the ground plane bug. I want an option to either set a monitor as a HMD or the window since this can use the light house IMUs
Steps for reproducing this issue:
start app
Select Disable direct display
App crashes
"requireHmd": false
doesn't work and there is no documentation on force hmd.
Just force it to a window and congrats Vive pro 2 is "supported" on linux with xorg.
proton 9 was the source of my issues with the patch. I was getting frustrated to the point I was creating a driver
Nothing extracted yet.
I want to learn about Steamvr find a permanent solution for my htc vive pro 2, everything but the display works. Disable direct mode does not open a separate window and linux x11 can recognize my headset as another monitor. I have a feeling I can change some settings this can work. Probably the best method is to make a driver but I can't find the documentation for a linux driver.
