Describe the bug
Room Setup crashes silently after roughly 5 seconds. The behavior is independent from user actions and the crash happens even when not interacting with the application. It is possible to go through the first few steps successfully, but the duration is not sufficient to go far into the setup.
The headset displays correctly and tracking seems to work without any issue. However, the headset can't be used since Room Setup must be performed first.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Start SteamVR
Wait for Room setup to launch or click "Perform Room Setup"
Room Setup always crashes silently after roughly 5 seconds irrelevant of user actions
Expected behavior
Room Setup does not crash and allows the user to complete the setup and use the headset.

SteamVR version: beta 2.9.6 (the bug is present with stable version too)
