Hello @kai-BongoKai, we're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker. Also, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title run with Proton, so I've gone ahead and transferred this issue report to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/2076#issuecomment-3333751977.
Describe the bug
When starting "The Lab" via SteamVR on EndeavourOS (Arch Linux base), entering the "Robot Repair" level always causes the game to crash during the loading screen. The application closes immediately with no error message or notification. Other levels, such as "Slingshot," work normally. On some tested Proton versions, visible graphical artifacts also occur during loading.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Start SteamVR on EndeavourOS (Arch Linux).
Launch "The Lab" from the Steam library.
Select and enter the "Robot Repair" level.
Observe crash during loading screen, with no message.
Expected behavior
Robot Repair level should load the environment and gameplay should start without crashing or graphical artifacts.
