Describe the bug
Immediately upon launch, SteamVR flickers between a few errors before settling on -203, and web console shows Vulkan timing errors on the compositor.

To Reproduce

Launch SteamVR
SteamVR bugs and gives error code -203

Expected behavior
SteamVR works and allows me to use it.

Hello @Yekataro, mesa 25.3 with an X based session needs https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/39166 to start up SteamVR.

This issue is already being tracked at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/14382 and https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamVR-for-Linux/issues/836. Closing in favor of the older issue report.
