Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When in Big Picture mode and trying to access one of the Whats new, sometimes i get the error Cannot read property 'match' of undefined, which persists until pressing ESC multiple times and manually pressing Refresh on the error text (which needs to be done with the mouse, because gamepad somehow cannot select it)

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Open Steam Big Picture
2. Navigate down to WHATS NEW
3. Try to open one of the shown
4. observe getting the error (if not, try restarting steam

For me it is rather consistent in getting the error
