Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Switching to desktop mode results in the client refusing to remember my client credentials and forcing me to the login screen...
where I am unable to login because not being logged in revokes user input privileges. :upside_down_face:

To clarify:

1. The client should remember my login (I have logged into desktop mode before and it refuses to login automatically, as I have told it to)
   2a. The "remember login" function isn't working anymore (as in: managing to login with KDE Connect and using that function doesn't actually work anymore)
   2b. (Off-topic, but KDE Connect doesn't work on all networks; only mentioning this because it used to work for me on my network and it not working on my network anymore exacerbates this login issue)
2. Not being able to have access to the hardware in desktop mode because of how tightly integrated Steam is (requiring login) is... very inconvenient.
3. Even if I was logged in, the Steam client doesn't permit user input in its own window(s) in desktop mode (connected to point 3)

Now, I would switch back to the stable branch... if the stable branch didn't prevent me from being able to connect to my wifi network...
So, I need this fixed. :|

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Turn on the Steam Deck
2. Switch to the "Main" OS branch
3. Switch to desktop mode
