As I mentioned in the original post, that's what I did at first because it didn't make any sense to me to report it here.
However, steam support directed me to this repo's issues and told me to make a new post.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I was collecting the free items for 20 years of steam when I stumbled upon this weird bug.
If you sign out, log in to another account and open the steam points shop it'll log you back into the previous account.
This is fixed by logging in again, I assume because the previous login is then your current login, and opening the steam points shop again.
This probably has a very slight chance at being a security risk but it's really just annoying more than anything else.
The reason I posted the issue here is because that's what I was told to do by the steam support
Steps for reproducing this issue:
I used Firefox and Augmented Steam extension
