Using dwm 6.4 with GPU/drivers above and steam installed via the Steam overlay, games appear to start, but no window appears and no audio can be heard. When started outside of the Steam client, games run as expected (assuming necessary libraries can be loaded).

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Install Steam with the distribution's recommended method.
2. Start an X server with dwm.
3. Start the Steam client
4. Attempt to launch a game
