Currently when launching Steam with the -pipewire launch option a desktop portal dialog box appears to ask the user permission to access the screen, this dialog box appearing every time steam is launched can be irritating. Steam should make use of the Screencast restore protocol to prevent the need to get permission to access the user's screen every time Steam is launched.
